In our house we have been caring for chrysaliss inside our house because it is now to cold for them to hatch outside during winter. I have found butterflys with broken wings outside in the cold so we kept them inside. Some have turned black but have not hatched. we have had 2 hatch. This is a photo of the 2nd butterfly.
